Hey, I'm completely new to the Brycc House and I just wanted to get a feel of some of the things I might be able to do for the Brycc House, and maybe even what it could offer me. I will talk a little bit about myself just to give you guys an idea of who I am and what kind of interests/goals we might share. One of my big passions is political activism and discussion. I am a member of a group called Youth for Socialist Action, which is the youth wing of a revolutionary-socialist organization (Marxist-Leninist-Trotskyist). Currently, I am the only youth member in the area, and I am friends with one adult member here also would be able to help out. It would be nice to start a chapter if possible. I hear that their are a lot of anarchists at the Brycc house, and since thats a left leaning idea maybe we could all get together and talk. Either way, I don't mean to push my party on all of you, but it would be nice to have some sort of political discussion group or something. I am homeschooled, so I'm kind of looking for a place to hang out and meet young people who share my interests and passions. I'm also very interested in writing, especially historical fiction, non-fiction, music reviews, etc. I have written for several small, local newspapers, I write loads of fiction and am an ok poet. I am currently working on a novel, so if there is anyone interested in a Novel writing thing that would be cool too. As for music, I have a HUGE passion for Extreme Metal (Black, Death, Melodeath, Folk Metal)and would like to know if my passions their could be utilized at the Brycc House, or if their would be people interested in having meetings centered around the discovery, discussion and critique of Extreme Metal music from around the world. Thats just a snapshot of me and my situation.
